How To Enable Windows Media Player (WMP) to play DVDs
Step1
Click Start and Click on Run. Type in Regedit.exe
Step2
Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Settings. From the Edit menu select New, String value. Enter a name of Enable DVDUI for the new string value, then press Enter. Double-click the new value and set it to Yes.
Click OK. Close regedit.
