How To Release and Renew IP

Step1

Click on Start , then Programs , Accessories and open Command Prompt.The Command Prompt dialog box will appear.

Step2

Type ipconfig /all at the prompt.Your network settings will be displayed.

Step3

To release your current IP Address, type ipconfig /release at the command prompt.A confirmation indicating that your IP Address has been release will appear

Step4

To query our network for a valid IP Address, type ipconfig /renew at the command prompt .Your network settings, including a 24.x.x.x IP Address will appear. To close the window, type exit at the prompt.
